The artist spent the month of May in Paris, with a short detour to Spain, for the destination painting arm of her just-launched PAS DE DEUX PROJECT. Couples were invited to participate in the project and sit for a destination painting--like a destination wedding, but for a painting instead. A few individuals were included, as well as a few still lifes, interiors, and landscapes related to a particular sitter. The month was a much larger success than imagined. The goal was to create eight destination paintings of couples. In the end, twenty one paintings were created and all were acquired. The paintings live with ecstatic collectors in Oregon, Brooklyn, Normandy, Médan, Paris 9me, Paris 3me, Paris 11me, Paris 16me, and Barcelona in their respective private collections.
